Great little story!

This is such a beautiful study of Martha and how she and Beckett relate.

That was nice! The show skipped all of that lovely stuff! Really sweet!

I liked how you showed what Kate and Martha were going through while Rick and Alexis were still in Paris before returning home. They certainly kept each other company and I thought it was great that you had Martha tell Kate some stories about a young Rick Castle.

Got a kick out of how Martha wanted that sign up for when Rick and Alexis returned. The really funny part was when Martha was putting on Kate.

The ending was very sweet.

I know it's a bit late but truth is I just discovered the alert in my former email box this morning, so ...
I like scenes between Martha and Kate, there are so full of wisdom and serenity.
I wish the TV show had more of them honestly.

Lovely story. Your characterization of Martha is as lovely, vibrant, and genuine as Susan Sullivan's performance, and the exploration of her relationship with Beckett here is just beautiful. Absolutely magnificent!

I love this! Everything from Martha feeding Kate's coping mechanism by drying the dishes to the image of a melodramatic 10 uear old Castle running away to join the circus. I think you painted both Martha and Kate perfectly, and were spot on with Castle indirectly through Martha.

Nice to have everyone back where they all belong. Loved how Martha is humanized and made more rounded than her character on tv. She is such a pistol! They make a great family. It rang true with how Kate needed to sleep in Rick's spot to just smell his smell before falling asleep. So sweet. Thank you.

Aw, I'd love a scene with Martha and Kate bonding. I think Kate needs that. This was great.
