Man what a ride that was. Good

Oh, neat. This is a pleasant surprise. Kaoru was existent and important to the story quite often, nice. And the focus of the lemon seemed appropriate for the particular occasion. Honesty, this chapter shows a massive improvement over the previous one.

One bit of advice though: Take extra in-story time when writing coincidental meetings that happen "x" times in a row. It helps the pace of the story.

Reading this to take a break from another story and I must say, it's interesting. Different, more slice of life, overall it's an attention holder. Well done. I do have some criticism overall, though.

The lemons (after the first one) focus too much on the physical aspect of sex, which takes away from the feeling that their relationship has grown.

It would really be nice to have Kaoru as an important part of the story, not just a third wheel. It's less believable when the story can ignore him and nothing would really change.

Ikumi doesn't act like a single mother and seems to have reverted to the time she first fell in love; and seems way too emotionally inexperienced. She's losing that "in your face" confidence in various situations, which kind of sucks because so much can be done with it to make her pop as a character. Currently, she seems a little out of character.

Ichigo seems way too honest (to other people) about his feelings. I understand in private, but the middle of a street or in a public place seems odd.

Now, there are instances where you nail their characters, but those scenes usually have nothing to do with relationships. Not that their current personalities are bad, they're just a bit out of character in some places. For example: It would have been cool to see pet names that reflected some unique aspect or quirk they saw in the other.

But this is just my opinion, take it as you will. Have a good week and God bless,
