Wow! I can't seem to get enough of little Henry. It's a nice side-effect that Regina is actually happy and he is still clinging to her in that way... ;)
Swimming was a great idea and I can totally imagine little Henry being that afraid until he just leaps in. It fitted his character.
But I really wouldn't wanna be this swimming instructor. I could really feel her relief. Which can either be a testiment to Lana Parilla's acting skills portraying the Evil Queen or your amazing writing skills to bring a side character to life in such a way. It's propbably a little bit of both, but more of the latter. I read a lot and my favorite reading experience is when a writer manages to elicit feelings in just a small sequence of words, in even a little scene. So, just keep writing, okay? :)

haha very cute :) One reason why I love these Growing Up stories so much is because I can really see Regina being this good mother. I can just see her and Henry being close like this and it saddens me to know that he does pull away from her at some point
