Holy Poseidon's watery balls this was one hell of a roller coaster trial! Your OC was hilarious what with the question marks bloating and the nail filing in the wannabe actress angle. Plus flirting with Phoenix however he needs to stop selling himself short...my husbando is hunky enough to be an actor surely plus he is very dramatic ... or is it that drama always follows him? Either way he was an art major and I was reading an interview with takumi who said that Nick's ultimate dream was to do theatre and even pursue Shakespearean acting! Which by the way is a story I would love to see at some point if only because I would love to see a sweat dropping, finger-pointing Romeo with spiky hair! I mean it's already Canon that if Nick loves you he willingly drink poison for you... XD

Last but not least... the criminally underrated Detective Badass. That is all. Loves it!

Holy runaway oxen, Batman! poor Doom...stabbed, drowned, choked...spanked (semi publicly!) AND MARRIED...she's suffered so much. But she's badass in her own way... I figure if she didn't die of humiliation from that fateful dinner party either in this story or Mt she can survive anything!

It's really good fanfiction, one of my favourites so far! Also, I wonder if the truth about Lyn is going to be shown in the trial (everyone's reactions would be priceless, for sure)

Yikes, that was a tough trial so far! I wonder why she was coughing and bleeding? Was it just pneumonia? Gah! All this Shadow and Seeker business really has my inner conspiracy theorist emerging! Seriously though, I think some of her medicine is what is causing her to see the Shadow.

Well, time for some theorizing. Obviously the shadow is real. Probably killed Kristoph and the guard. My guess is it’s The Phantom. After all, he’s able to be anywhere because of his disguises.

Good characterizing though: This is the same man who in CANON unwittingly sold-out Apollo as being Daddy Dragon's son in SOJ to the guards who were in pursuit of him and Big Red in SOJ, so OF COURSE he'd be the type to blab about Miles personal affairs to the Wild Mare, (who BTW I ship like FedEx...Miles was Dracula's ward who called him Sir, and at 7 years apart, him and Fran didn't spend that much time together growing up, nothing wrong with shipping them. Just satin) and THEN despite being an ART MAJOR at one point, can't tell the difference between PERIWINKLE and purple?! Nick, your love interest wears purple. (also, yay, Phaya! I saw the signs!) the PERIWINKLE Pisshead, who now be deadass, that's HIS suit color! Kay? Kay!

Do I sense a Phoenix x Maya ship? Because I am completely okay with that! Speaking of Ace Attorney ships, the weirdest one I saw was where Phoenix was shipped with Franziska of all people. Well that, and the one where she was with Edgeworth, who need I remind you is her adopted brother? Oddly enough, the story I read where Phoenix dated Franziska was well written enough that it actually worked. Too bad it's dead now, and I've long since forgotten the name of it.

Great update and man Phoenix truly is in for one hell of a court case.

A Phoenix centric chapter AND my fave detective?! WHOOOOOP! I loved seeing Phoenix and Kay interact. My only regret was that Maya wasn't there in the mix (when is she coming back?! I miss her!) as I agree with "THAT MAN", those two mischievous assistants would get along all too well! Also, I LOVED seeing the criminally underrated yet laconic Detective Badass in both your stories for these latest chapters and your portrayal of him is awesome! Oooh... Does Nick have admirers? You mean besides his number 1 fangirl and Maya? :p

Hmm... perhaps the footsteps were a recording played over hidden speakers? That's the only plausible explanation I can think of. Also, if Lyn is seeing and speaking to that world's Lyn, then, given her unique circumstances, is she actually crazy? Just wondering. Good chapter. It has certainly been quite a while.

...uhm, not to side with the villains, but if the court system includes harassing a brain-damaged woman, it needs to be overthrown.
