 She Just Lit It Up chapter 1 . 9/30/2013 Firstly, I would just like to say that I really respect you for writing this story, even with the immature backlash that you’re bound to receive given the theme and path of this story. I always found it ridiculous when a plot receives hatred, usually from a certain mindset of people, who go on fanfiction or watch a show expecting rainbows and butterflies... hello! That is not the mark of good story-writing – even though I hated this particular storyline on the show for what it did to my beloved C/O on GA, I really thought that it was a plausible scenario ... that’s the way life is – shit happens. And it’s how you deal with it that shape the future of yourself and your relationships. So yes, it sucks but you illustrated beautifully the turmoil and journey that the characters would go through given a shitty scenario. And you did it rationally, that’s what I admired the most. You mapped out the story very well, with the dialogue and the direction it is going – in my opinion, you kept them in character. I’m really enjoying this story so far and I hope that you plan on finishing it because it’s too good to abandon completely. Anyway, thanks for writing it and offering the fandom your insight and writing skills :) |
