Wow, I can't believe I read this.

Okay, I'm going to piss off all the Rizzles fans here, but I've got to say I think the fact that Maura took her back after all Jane did stinks. Quite frankly, Jane doesn't deserve Maura. She put her on the spot 5 years earlier and didn't give her a chance to respond, ran away, did it again without even the decency to talk to her, then just shows up on her couch like everything should be hunky-dory? *shakes head* Sorry, but that just doesn't fly. Maura should have kicked her butt to the curb and told her it's too late, or at the very least that Jane needs to earn back her trust.

*shrugs* Just being honest.

I'm liking this story a lot. I can easily see Jane reacting that way to her perception of rejection from Maura, and Maura trying to move on with Evan to cover her hurt. The Rizzoli's keeping Maura as part of the family, the brothers ganging up on Jane to make her see the light of day, all of it was great.

One small issue: You have the big blow up scene as 5 years, 2 weeks, and 4 days earlier, but the announcement of Jane moving to Chicago as 5 years, 2 weeks, and 6 days earlier - that's before than the misunderstanding. Maybe I missed something, or I'm just confused, but I think that's backwards ("She hadn't seen her since that night and her calls, emails and texts had gone unanswered.").

Moving on to the next chapter.

So Jane left for Chicago and Maura could not tell her for 5 years? Why would she have to wait for Jane to come back? Why is it Jane's fault that she left when she thought Maura did not love her back? The story was good but it seemed too much like it was ALL jane's fault. Again. Most fanfiction seem to blame Jane whenever something goes wrong.

Dude great story. I just love Rizzles. But in the case of your story, I think it should have gone a chapter or two more and Jane should have made Maura work for it. Too many times do people place almost the sole blame on Jane's shoulders when there is something wrong with Rizzles relationship. But the your story was sooooooo BA!
