I first read this story years ago, and have just kept coming back to it ever since. Guess i was too shy to ever review for some reason though.

I know this hasn't been updated in years, but I just have to say... this is hands down the best fic, both for this pairing and for Ves herself, that i have ever seen, and i've read everything for her i could get my hands on. Definitely my favourite Star Wars fic of all time. It's absolutely amazing!

I just adore everything about it. Their growing friendship and relationship, Ves' terrifying "vision" and how she has to go to Luke for help, how Mara-taught-Luke-taught-Ves to enter peoples' dreams, how entitled Tarick is, and how you obviously the author must have gone to Wookieepedia like me to check everyone's ages and noticed Ben and Ves should have their birthdays close together.
Uggghh I love the inclusion of those little details, like the birthdays and Ves having braided hair, that just make the fic seem so much more part of the canon.

I'm a sucker for angst, so i love how the story doesn't just stop when our characters get together, with the narrative instead introducing new roadblocks and complications.

I appreciate how here Ben actually seems nicer and more understanding than his book-counterpart, like when he tells Ves to stop thinking about what the Jedi and Sith want and think about what *she* wants, or when in chapter 8 he says she can just try being *herself*. I always felt like some of the Jedi, especially Luke, were veering far too far into asshole territory in FotJ and Crucible.

I just love it, ok? Ves has inexplicably kind of been my favourite character for years now, and it just means so much to me to have found such an amazing multi-chap for her. Thank-you.

Good story

The good, really like the writing. Characters in are great ones, though if I'm being honest in the books, V.K. has horribly confusing decision-making. Whatever, not directly related.

The bad, I've just checked for a pulse after reading the entirety, and, if it's alive, it's doing a damn fine job at hiding it.

I sincerely hope that you get back to this story soon, as I am a huge Ben/Ves fan. This story has captured my attention since the first chapter, and I look forward to reading more once you get around to it. I wish you the best of luck in life.
