In some unexplainable way, it made me cry. It's so lovely. So sad.
So bittersweet.

I like this story because it's one of the very few in fanfiction that actually acknowledges that there is much more to a relationship that good sex. That sex is actually the least important aspect. Respect, Consideration, Compromise. Those are what's needed in a relationship. There wasn't any love in this relationship, it was lust and physical passion. If there was love, it was twisted to such an extent it was ugly and hurtful and used as a weapon. LOL, Love cannot conquer all like the stupid teenagers like to think.

Harry made the right decision IMHO. Draco was toxic, the place where they lived was unwelcoming and borderline hostile, Draco was too much into his own power over the Golden Boy and much too selfish to be a half way decent partner. He was completely unyielding and chipped away at Harry's psyche with each interaction. He knew nothing about harry's needs and didn't have any inclination to find out what there were, let alone actually meeting them. He placed more value on his Pride and Dominance and Control that he did on harry and his well being. That's an abuser right there.

Just because the first relationship after Draco isn't perfect, doesn't mean that Harry is doomed to "settle". He's learned what he cannot tolerate in Draco as well as what turns him on sexually. He's learned that it's possible to have his emotional needs met with Daniel and it's not asking too much to expect that. Soon enough, Harry will find someone that meets more than half his needs. I think he should go abroad personally :-)

It's realistic. That's what normal people should do when they are in an unhealthy relationship.

But... This is a fan fiction! And, oh please, please, please, the fans need closure! Where's the second part where Draco realizes that he is in love with Harry, and he has to get Harry back...?

Waiting, desperately, for the second chapter.

Honestly I rather like this most in taht Harry gets out of an unhealthy relationship-abusive I think-and goes out to look for something better.

Maybe not exactly waht he wants but better.

What? That's so sad. I always thought that if you love someone, everything falls into place. But stories like this makes me realize that true life is complicated. It's just sad to think that two people who clearly love each other can't be together because of things like this. Why can't it be more simple? It's just sad that people find it hard to compromise even to the ones they love.

Oh I didn't think to request a sequel until I came back here and saw the last comment/review. What a splendid idea...there actually is quite a strong base here to build from. There can be so much growth and development for all three of them to undergo that will take them to where they can reach their full potential individually and fulfillment in relationships. Erm...but hopefully not as a threesome. I can see Daniel just not being able to keep up with something like that.

However, I know there are other stories you have that are older and haven't finished or followed up on, so I'm content if you leave this as it is. But please know there is obviously fan interest here if you decide to proceed! This has been a story that's shockingly stayed with me. I hope my prior review didn't come across too disrespectful. I was just so emotionally charged with wanting to smack Harry and Draco upside the head!

That's heartbreaking! Harry shouldn't have to settle. Stupid Draco! Poor Daniel. No one is happy in this situation. How about a sequel? One that has a happier ending maybe? If you decide to write it, I'll be here to read it! Excellent story! It really drew me in. Keep up the amazing work!
