Lol, I loved it. Jokes aside though, I like the idea that being brought back to life from a peaceful astral existence is basically the worst kind of torture. I can see that.
But ughhh these stupid idiots pushing each other away constantly. Make up and kiss, dammit!

I loved this. I welled up, honestly.

I absolutely adore your account of Joker's life after her death. I was really there with him, feeling his pain. It was perfect, beautifully written.

"She should have looked straight in his face more often, she thought. He was beautiful."

MY HEART. I loved the little scene at the party, the intimate conversation they had and how she's so caring with her crew. Mother hen Shepard, haha.

And asdfgfddfghhh when she says "You." and then both of them try to rationalise it into not meaning what it means. I wanted to shake Joker! Lol Listen up, idiot, she's in love with you! XD

This is such a nice slow burn, love it. I loved Joker's POV because he's so confused when it's so OBVIOUS why she's doing what she's doing. But of course he can't quite believe it so he's all insecure and bothered, and it's adorable.
Also, hahaha, Alenko's overuse of cologne. I've not played the game but I can honestly just imagine him so well, and he's so clearly not her type.

Ahh, that ending! I ship it. I see why you do, now. Love him "saving" her from Alenko, hahaha.

And this whole paragraph:
"She looked so real then, more real than ever. His heart ached with a feeling he absolutely refused to name. It still didn't stop him from turning his chair, reaching out to her and brushing the soft strands out of her face.

So beautiful. So tender. I felt things.

Oof, that chat they had at the end was very powerful. Great insights into everyone's characters, really, in this chapter.

I'll be damned, I binged this. There were points where I thought Jo would die with the Reapers, and felt like dropping it at tho points. But at the emotional points tears fell and the good parts I loved. This has been a rollercoaster on my emotions.

So I watched a movie from 2015, barely lethal, featuring Jessica Alba, and the character she plays is literally your Shepard in this. Blonde hair, killer-badass attitude and skills...everything

Omg what an epic story! I loved it from start to finish. It took me a couple of days but I just couldn't stop reading this! This is going in my favourite list!
