I can't use chopsticks either. So Reid ain't the only one. This is really good so far, cannot wait to see the moment when they don't call him Doctor! :)

Awwww, Reid. It'd be interesting if the show did do a flashback or something to when he first joined sometime. I imagine it probably would've been fairly similar to what you depict here. Of course, we all know he's done just fine for himself since then-good move on Gideon's part, for sure.

I sympathize with Reid about the whole "being skinny/being nagged to eat more" thing :p.

This series looks cute. I particularly loved the beginning. I could picture the room and the clocks (that sort of tends to bug me, too, actually!), and I like how that was balanced against the bits with his mom. A creepy-looking room and tense workers and yet there's a mom who clearly loves and cares about her son in the midst of all of that.

Also, the bit you allude to with the "This IS calm and it's 'doctor'" line was at the start of season 7. But a great thing to inspire a story-I loved that part in that episode, too :D. I like it when Reid sticks up for himself like that.
