asdhdlkdjh there was so much I loved about this. This is one of my favourite pairings, and you totally did them justice. The characterisation was fantastic - this seems exactly like something Tonks would do, and I love how Remus disapproved at first but was completely unable to resist her.

I really liked the detail you had in this. One thing that particularly stood out to me was the reference to Sirius and James smoking the same cigarettes - I feel like a lot of people ignore Remus's past when they write this pairing, but he's bound to think about his old friends from time to time. It definitely made him seem like a more rounded character.

Anyway, Tonks's cheekiness was perfect, and when she just proposed completely out of the blue... wow. I love that. New headcanon! And Remus's response was great as well.

I have a tiny, tiny nitpick which is that I didn't find it entirely clear that they were in an established relationship until she proposed so that did come as a bit of a shock, but it was effective and it doesn't really matter. I love how you referred back to the three a.m. bit at the end, and basically everything about this was just gorgeous and absolutely wonderful. Favouriting!

I can totally imagine Tonks turning up tipsy at Remus' in the middle of the night, it just seems like the kind of thing she would do. And Remus' thoughts about her are very sweet!

"unconsciously changing her eye colour to match his, which he never ceased to find endearing." - I really liked this line, I love how she does it unconsciously without even realising it, yet it shows so much how she feels about him. And it makes sense that he would find that endearing... they're adorable!

I liked how you fitted this story in to the prompt you had, it matched it perfectly yet was very well-written and beautiful, which can be quite rare :)

I thought this was absolutely beautiful. You wrote Remus and Tonks extremely well and I thought this moment (and Tonks being the one to propose) was beautiful. I love how you interpreted the prompts too. I can just imagine Tonks yelling out the front to Remus. It's a Tonks thing to do haha.

I really like this pairing, i just can't write Remus too well, and I've never really tried Tonks before, so it's hard. But I do enjoy reading them, so well done.
