Good story. The last line feel a bit sad, knowing Fred is about to die and so is his innocent promise

that was very good! i have done a fred/angelina one myself. it's really very hard to get their characters down, especially fred's, but you did a great job!
reminiscent-afterthought chapter 1 . 6/24/2013
I think I mentioned it before, but it reads a little stilted when you give an exact date like you're starting off a report or a newspaper article. It sets the story up for being a little emotionless, and this sounds as though it could be very /very/ emotional.

I can imagine Fred wishing for freedom, and wishing he was doing something. Sounds exactly like the twins, though it might have been a good idea to mention at that point that the Owl Service wasn't nowhere near a good substitute for the joke shop.

I would also like to see a little more of Fred comforting Angelina inside Muriel's house; it came a little quickly, but other than that, nice work. It was interesting to see this pairing, particularly since she winds up marrying George.
Runaway Renegades chapter 1 . 5/28/2013
This was lovely and well written. I think that it can fit well into cannon events. And it's nice to know that Angelina got to meet up with Fred one last time before his sad death (which no matter how many times I watch or read the Deathly Hallows, I will always cry even though I know it's coming.) I really like the way you wrote Angelina and Fred and for claiming to struggle with the Weasley twins, I think you did a great job with writing Fred.
percychased chapter 1 . 5/11/2013
[Well, we're all going to die at one stage or another.] That was a good addition to the story.
You struggle with the Weasley twins? In this, I couldn't really tell at all because they were kept perfectly IC. And although there isn't much Angelina in the books, I think you did a great job with her too.
Good job!

Oh, darling, I like. I like very much. :))

It's a pretty fic, you know, the type with quiet overtones of sadness but mostly just a peaceful story. :) You did a great job with Fred and Angelina. They're are so many intriguing parts, so many nice lines.

I'm glad to think they got one last meeting in. And oh, these lines, these lines: "Stay with me," she whispered. "I don't want to be alone." Fred smiled, pressing his lips into her hair. "I'm not going anywhere," he promised. "For as long as you're with me, you're safe, Angelina." Perfectly heartbreaking.

I do love this story, dear. Thank you very much for the gift. I really appreciate it. Hopefully, I'll be able to return the favor someday. :)) Thanks very much, Ash. I miss all you HPFC people and once RL calms down a bit, I hope I'll be able to join you there more often. :))

Again, beautiful story and a big heartfelt 'thank you' to you. :)

Aww. :) Very sweet. I liked how you wrote it; it was well done and made me smile. :)
Oriondruid chapter 1 . 4/19/2013
That was a really nice story and good to know Angelina got to meat up again with Fred one last time, before his sad death. She seems a little weaker as a character than I usually picture her, I feel she is more of a 'warrior witch' than she is in this tale, but then again her fears for her family following the shock of them being attacked and being hunted may have dented her confidence a little. I'm sure she rallied and gave the Death Eaters hell at the Battle though. All in all this was well written and enjoyable, thank you.
Many Blessings.

colorful swirls chapter 1 . 4/18/2013
I liked this. It was something I would never have thought of to happen on Fred's last day, so good job with uniqueness. I didn't notice any spelling errors, either.

Fred and Angelina seemed to be in character, as well. This was very touching, considering we know what's going to happen to this relationship. My favorite part:

["Well," he said to the owl, "We're all going to die at one stage or another, aren't we?"]

So Fred, and so ominous. Great job :)
