Hehe... This story is hilarious! And the funniest part, for me, is the fact that a cave DID collapse on Hiashi, once... Also, the magician part. I can picture him say those lines with an expression so serious, you'd wonder if he was messing with you or not!

To say that I loved this would be an understatement.

I definitely wanted a unique topic like this to be explored in the NH fandom where everyone turns Hiashi into a extremely rigid and unyielding old fart XD

The magician bit was easily the best part XD

Hehehe this is fantastic! lol I did not see the magician scene coming at all. That was just great- shows how Hiashi doesn't just troll Naruto with matters concerning Hinata, Hiashi trolls Naruto in all the 9 some years they've been acquainted with each other! And the ending was really sweet too :)

Ya know? I think you're one of the very few who gets the real Hiashi. Major Kudos! I do like the magician lines, only a Hyuuga or, god forbid, an Arabarme (Shino's clan as I know I butchered that one) could really pull those lines off.

that was so awesome! it was epic! i am totally praying for a narutoxhinata ending and i would love to see him becoming family with the hyugas.

I'm so glad you wrote this; for one thing, it is a great deal closer to how I imagine Hiashi to view Naruto. And the story has a nice balance of seriousness and humor.
I have to say my favorite section is the flower pressing part. It does seem completely in character for Hinata to have picked up his hobby like that, and Naruto further continues to change the clan relationships in that section by being a bridge of sorts between Hinata and her father.
I also really love that magic trick.
Anyway, this fic really showed Hiashi as a father, which I appreciate. I do wish people would write him like this more, as it seems pretty clear he's changed his ways in part two.
