HOW. HOW. How on earth can it make it heart wrenching and so syruppy sweet at the same time, Eustass-ya?! An actual fic revolving around an emotional confrontation between Kid and Law, you are just doting on me too much! Absolutely amazing. They dip in and out of character just enough to make their relationship seem probable. I love how you used the fact that Law's past was mostly sapless and dry to make him the self-conflicted way he is. Kid comes to the rescue and saves Law from not being able to respond to the implied love and devotion he never experienced before. They softened each other up so much that their hard outer shells are ready to crack. They have changed each other for the better and they couldn't admit it before finally facing each other. Their futures are brightened because they complete each other.

I love that the emotions are from the heart not the body. Physical adoration has been mentioned but not the main focus of their relationship. That makes it so beautiful. I just love the drama and the feels. You're really talented at writing IC dialogue and conveying characters' POVs and emotions through their actions and words. You also take all the factors into account with their turbulent positions as pirates and their unique personalities.
