It's been a long time since I saw the manga, but oof yikes, the face-crushing is still gruesome even just reading the words.

My favorite part of the Tooryanse arc is the teacher and the fact that Rikuo's two worlds clashed, so thanks for giving that some focus here too:D

First off, I choked on tea when I read that Seimei had to go to school. Abe fucking Seimei, Darklord of the underworld, had to go to SCHOOL. LMAOOOO imagine him getting corrected on his outdated grammar or getting chewed out for not knowing basic facts about world history. I fear for his teachers' life but it's hilarious.

lol Rikuo messing with Rikun and everyone else. Kinda nice seeing him have fun with his family though:)) Also I live for sibling bonding if I haven't mention it before.

Seeing Rikun with the Kiyo squad makes me happy. Rikun is much more confident and mischievous than in canon, so it's interesting to see how that'll effect the team dynamics. (And also the kids are just fun and useful for plot purposes lol)
"Kurata seemed like he is astral planning somewhere into the universe." xgdhfm this line hit me completely unexpectedly but now I can't stop laughing. If this is the kind of reaction Rikun gets, then I think I get why he loves it lol.

Duuuuuude. I cannot give you a coherent paragraph on how and why I adore it, so I'll just list the points instead:
Rikun trying to cheer up Rikuo. BADASS RIKUO. The others being surprised. Rikun noting the change in his brother's attitude. Rikuo looking like a Nurarihyon! Rikuo basically teleporting from the fight XD. Gyuki getting called out lmao. the TWIN PRANKING. And omg Gyuki's indignity, the image is horrifyingly hilarious.

Thanks for updating. This fanfiction brings back memories, I remember reading it when you first started writing it. Anyhow I love how the story is going, hope to read more chapters soon.

I really wish there's was more nurarihyon no mago stories like the manga versions or the anime versions of nurarihyon no mago. hohoho Rikuo has Yokai form please keep bringing out Rikuo's night Yokai form it would be awesome. :)

Very much enjoyed this! I especially liked the relationship between Kurotabou and Rikou from chapter 6! Could you show more of them? I felt neither got a proper reunion moment or just time to reestablish that bond they once had. It would be great to read more of this tale!

This is my third time through already, but I really like how natural-feeling these divergences are, especially the Wakana/Otome switch. (Family-focused plots, ftw!)

Rihan and Rikuo are my two favorite characters by far.
Despite the amount of time apart, it's saddening to see how Rikuo still thinks so lowly of himself. Hopefully Rikun and co. can help with that.

I'm particularly curious about how he died. The fact that Rikuo had been so close to Nura territory when he was attacked couldn't have been a coincidence, right? Plus, there's the mentioned youkai form that we have yet to see in action and his relationship with the Kyoto youkai. I'm getting the impression that Rikuo may have gained a following of his own in those 80 years because those Kyoto youkai chose him, a Nura, over the son of their former leader. (Or something along those lines. It didn't appear they were very surprised by the difference in his behavior outside of Seimei's control.)
