Reviews for Jealousy
Alteros chapter 5 . 10/29/2019
I know this is super late but there's a typo here where Morgan is written in place of Robin. I bring this up because it's probably the only flaw i've seen in this fic which probably accounts for the low number of reviews, hard to come up with constructive criticism when there's nothing to criticize. The shortness of it probably contributes to the lack of flaws but even still, this is excellent.
cordelia chapter 1 . 9/19/2017
sereiously wtf i dont like this
Guest chapter 6 . 9/30/2016
Just gotta say I found these while I was at work and read em all while I'm working. Your writing is what hooked me up so amazing job! I loved these little excerpts!
kalmaegi chapter 6 . 7/12/2016
Ohhhhhh I never considered Robin marrying Cordelia before. Well, this is I interesting especially since Severa inherited her father's insecurities and self doubt. Its the first time I can see Robin's family so clearly and not just the usual shoe-in that happens (even if theres the obvious divide of 'Severa and Cordelia' and 'Morgan and Robin'). And just, everything from the other side of those so called unbreakable bonds. It's nice to read it that way. It turned full circle.
Aodyssey chapter 6 . 6/3/2016
Fun story.

Sometimes, it doesn't have a happy end.

As an aside, will you be writing for other fandom beyond RWBY? More Fallout content, maybe?
Guest chapter 5 . 4/6/2016
Great:)
Guest chapter 6 . 3/21/2016
Sometimes I wonder why Robin would reject godhood or his own status as a divinely chosen individual, or relationships with an Empress, a Princess, or a divine, eternal Oracle, but human stories like this that ignore the Thorons, Truths, Tyrfings, and Tikis of his life make me appreciate how much more eminently relatable the "High Deliverer" is with an extraordinary ordinary person who can challenge him regardless of how much Holy Blood runs in her veins.

This was a beautiful story and left a strong impression. Thank you for writing.
Howling Armadillo chapter 6 . 11/14/2015
This felt very real. It was the family I first ended up with when I played this game, so everything here really seemed to fall into place for me. This added another layer onto what I'd say is probably the most complex family Awakening has to offer. Well done.
Howling Armadillo chapter 5 . 11/14/2015
I know you must have left this story out of your mind ages ago but I feel like this needs to be pointed out.
Instead of saying "Robin was to Morgan what Chrom had once been to Morgan" I feel like it should say "what Chrom had once been to Robin" instead. If I'm just misunderstanding things then I'm sorry, but I do think that's what you were going for so I figured I should mention it.
inkbender chapter 6 . 3/25/2015
This story had the potential to be angsty, dark, drenched in emotion... and it was, but this little epilogue brings it all together wonderfully, reveals it for the love and care that it really is. Thank you.
22 chapter 6 . 1/8/2014
Very good!
Kallavan chapter 6 . 7/28/2013
Wonder if you'd be willing to write a Bad End...
fulminant.trigger chapter 6 . 5/27/2013
Nice work. I liked the theme and it was done realistically. I think my favorite one was Severa's. I agree with you when you say that the supports seem to lean heavily towards one child/parent pair, especially since the other set of supports are just generic. That was a little disappointing, though I understand from a game developer's point of view that writing THAT many unique conversations would be quite a task.

And yes, I think jealousy is pretty normal in relationships. I really like this quote of Oscar Hammling's on the subject: "To demand of love that it be without jealousy is to ask of light that it cast no shadows."

Good job, again, and I hope you keep writing!
The Anguished One chapter 6 . 5/25/2013
To begin, good work as always. I love this game, and next playthrough I'll be pairing myself with Cordelia. I think you did a fantastic job representing everyone's personalities.
Uninspired Author chapter 5 . 5/25/2013
Awesome, I always liked the dynamic of MU/Cordelia and how it ties in with Chrom's side of the family. Though that mostly ties in with Severa's jealousy/hatred to Chrom since she thought her mother chose him over her (and this can be further cemented by the fact Robin/MU also has to work alongside Chrom so both parents can seemingly renforce this belief). I was actually going to do something vaguely like this before I found your work. I really like how you provided all these insights and dynamics and there were some things I hadn't really considered for each character too. You did great in narrowing their perspectives so it becomes believable and the good end does well in broadening the vision to a bigger picture than each individuals. The inclusion of Chrom was great.

The only thing I'd really point out/complain about is that these could pass off as actual stories than just inner thoughts and could be longer with some more specific events or character interactions. Or maybe you could have made the 'Good End' into a narration of actual events rather than what it was?

Overall I really enjoyed. Good work.
