InebMG chapter 1 . 5/13/2014
I love this! I really like the way you wrote it, and how both stories come together at the end...and also, this was sexy as hell!
Tess-IV chapter 1 . 5/4/2014
I loved this story. The way you portrait both is just perfect.
Glad you made then follow what the universe was hinting them ;)

Dana Keylits chapter 1 . 7/3/2013
I don't know, Liv. I'm afraid that we are going to lose you as a fanfic writer, because honest to God your name should be in bookstores already! Holy s**t! This was, by far, one of the best pieces of fanfic I have *ever* read, including my own (I abdicate any pretense for writing after reading this)! The style, tone, setup, word choice, narration, all of it was just brilliant! I honestly cannot say enough about how much I loved it! I stand and applaud you! Bravo!

its beautiful! absolutely beautiful! _
Rachel C. Astrid chapter 1 . 6/10/2013
I LOVE the idea of the story style reflecting Kate's point of view meeting up with Castle's (or, as I was thinking during the story, a train arriving at a destination known from the start of the trip). Really, really love that.

Although I don't often enjoy second person POV, I very much enjoyed this. I wonder if the changing tense technique would work just as well with third person POV (whether consistent or changing in subjectivity) - but I wonder that in a you-just-opened-up-so-many-more-creative-choices-I -didn't-even-know-we-had kind of way and not in an I-think-you-made-the-wrong-creative-choice kind of way.

I was a little - I don't know, sad...-ish? concerned? not sure - that there was enough alcohol involved that they decided she shouldn't climb to the top bunk, but in general from the start I idealized their first romp, whenever it would be, not to involve alcohol just so that it would be clear that it was fully consensual and consciously considered. That's a personal thing, though, and it didn't keep me from enjoying the creativity of the story.

Liv, I give you tremendous kudos for your courage to try something new and your skill in playing with the style to contribute to the story you are telling. This seems so much more interesting than a chronological story of the same events would be. In the words of (a future) Castle, you really blew my mind.

Thank you for writing!

Thoughts? Well I found the 2nd person p.o.v distracting. I would suggest moving on from that style to 3rd person. It's not doing your writing any favors.
nolesome chapter 1 . 5/29/2013
LOVE the narration style of this one - your experiment is a big success in my book! It works perfectly with the short timespan of the story, and the balance and contrast between the two 2nd person perspectives is delightful. It's like a magic trick right there.
The setup is a wonderful reference to Dr. No, the first Bond movie - the overnight train journey, the blue lace nightgown, tipsy & playful. Would love to know if that's intentional or a lovely accident :)
Man, I love this story. It is so well-written, nice touches of hesitation from each of them but so playful and sweet and very sexy.
Bookjunkie41 chapter 1 . 5/29/2013
Loved it!
Ayakafic chapter 1 . 5/26/2013
Ugh... eh.. I mean... wow. That was hot!
I like the different style of writing with the POV:s. Interesting and nothing like what I've ever read in fanfic before.
It worked really well for this story, I think the train helped me to fee a bit like It was being played out in an Agatha Christie book or similar which also helped the writing fit.
Really different but I liked it a lot! Thank god for fanfic like this when there's 19 more weeks to go!
