| Carling chapter 1 . 9/29/2013 I read Eclipse and then your abandoned sequel for Eclipse. Since seeing the new Star Trek movies I became intrigued by the idea of Star Trek fan fiction. I grew up in the original series and never really could see McCoy and Kirk as anything more than pals. I saw more to Spock and Kirk, frankly. But with the "reboot" there is more interaction between Kirk and McCoy and the chemistry is different. I don't know which version of Kirk and McCoy you are picturing as you write your stories but whichever, you do a fantastic job making them your own and brewing up chemistry between them, either as friends or lovers. This was very enjoyable. And now I'm not so sad that you moved away from Harry and Draco. I'll gladly enjoy your Star Trek stories for as long as your muse inspires you to write them. I don't usually read Star Trek fan fiction but I am a fan of your writing style and can't give your work up! |
