| ProfessorSpork chapter 1 . 5/25/2013 well hot damn, girl. the coolest part about reading this, for me, is seeing how far you've come. there's an effortlessness to the way you write now. your sentences have purpose: they convey without summarizing, and we live in them. it's hard to explain what's changed, but it's so obvious that it has, and you should be mega proud of yourself. the metaphors don't feel labored anymore; they don't feel like you threw them in on purpose to add shiny. they feel as though you put them there because it's what you wrote, because it's what you meant. the other thing that I found very enjoyable was the way you used quinn, because i didn't expect it at all. I really thought this would be a "i used to be you until they broke me down" thing, but quinn's past, beth aside, NEVER came up. she let spencer be spencer and never made a comparison, which allowed her to be this... mystery girl. it's weird for me to read, because i know she's not, and i know how wrong spencer is to think she's FREE AND CARELESS, and obviously you need to do a sequel so they can talk about it. |

I haven't seen many people (or any at all, I think) be able to pull off punk!Quinn so brava. Other than that, I have no criticisms, only praises so yeah. You dun' good. |
