This has some grammatical issues (mostly your overuse of hyphens), but I really enjoyed reading it, especially the last line.

Thanks for writing this great story and giving us such a fresh image of these two characters. I loved the way you wrote them, I think you did an amazing job of staying true to them and the way they both think. I really appreciate the look into this aspect of their relationship. Fantastic job!

Thanks for writing a story with Sharona. I've always felt she was more caring. Monk needs not only a friend but someone with a medical background. It will help him get better easier and sooner.

This was great. I have some phobias-never as many as Adrian though-and OCD about several things, so I relate to Monk so much. It was so good to read a fanfic that deals with it in a non-comedic way. I especially loved when you write: "After all, he was subject to constant ridicule for his visible symptoms (...)" because that pisses me off so much when it happens in the show. Thank you for this fic, it's awesome. And thank you for not linking him romantically to Sharona!

I only got halfway through (gotta log off) but it was like for a minute I could almost imagine how it would feel to be him. I think that this is appropriate, especially after Feb. 11's new eppie. It's almost like he's normal by now... it's weird... usually one HESITATES before leaning out a speeding car's window.

Thank you very much for a very well written, very touching piece. Though I've never written a Monk fic, I have had a picture in my head that Adrian would subject himself to scaling water, so I was glad to see another author had the same thought.

I just saw this and read it, and, wow, this is intense. I'm close to crying right now (there's also a slower song on the radio right now, too, so that doesn't help any). You don't see a lot of stories talking about how Sharona feels. Very sad, but very well-written.

I loved this story very much. It was so sad, yet so realistic. I liked how you showed the more depressing side of Monk's illness rather than playing it for laughs. I think you kept the characters very much in-character; I could really see them come alive in this story. I look foward to reading more of your work in the future. I hope that I'm not too late to review this, because you posted it over a year ago. Oh well, better late than never, right?
