When you mentioned HB's old teacher using a wand for "special occasions" I was like... BROOMHEAD?! Ahhh I have missed her evil demonic presence... How did Helenna pick up on this from Constance's past? :O

I loved this chapter. Your writing is just lovely! I didn't think the lesson went on for too long.. I'm a teacher myself, and really enjoyed reading it! I loved the scene at the end with HB.. you have her so in character and her non-nonsense attitude is spot on.
