And yet again you've created something so poetic and beautiful that I'm sat here not knowing what I'm feeling, only that it's the same feeling I get whenever I read your stories. I love what you do with this pairing and...yeah, you're writing is amazing!

You want to memorize the image of her fire-red hair melding into the translucent sunset dripping down from the sky, the way that her slim hips purposefully move from side to side.
You can't repeat the past. But you're convinced that you can repeat a dream.
That's a blood debt.
Her lips are the answer, the one that you didn't know you were searching for.
You are frozen. You taste your heart on your tongue.

All my favorite lines and all impossibly sad and beautiful. Just like this story. I think that last one might just have been my favorite.

I really don't know how you do it but each and every one of your stories makes me feel so vulnerable.
I think your way of capturing those dark days may be able to give some of the greatest authors ever a run for their money...

I really hope that one day I'll be able to write such soulful oneshots...

I prefer it to some of your other stories because I like it when a fic has a kind of issue or specifi plot - I think you captured the harsh realities of the views of the society and how they impact on people like Lily really well, as well as James' naivety. Brilliant!

Marvelous as it always is. I loved the hints of Gatsby throughout, the new money/old money clash, the last line, all of it. You always recreate James and Lily in such interesting ways, different every time. I was excited to see this in my email-my excitement was far past justified.
