I love the Beverly-Will h/c even if it doesn't necessarily end well, and the comparisons of Will vs. a fox. And reheating Hannibal's casserole in a microwave-Serves him right!

God, I am glad you got into Hannibal. It's such a gorgeous and fascinating series, with lots of potential for you beautiful short fics. Your Beverly here is excellent, exactly the right mixture of caring and awkward. Here's hoping that she sticks around in canon.

By the way, I'm stupid in love with the lightbulb metaphor. What an oddly perfect way to describe Will.

This was beautiful and a bit heart-breaking. I'd always liked their rapport in the books, but the show brings an even better dynamic between them (one that you definitely captured). I especially loved this line:

"It's sickeningly fitting, Beverly thinks, and she wonders how Will Graham can be seen by so many people every day and still not be found."

I also enjoyed the comparison of Lecter to Beverly's grandmother's cat. The symbolism of Will being a dog and Lecter being a cat is very fitting, especially since they will soon be at odds. Anyway, I'm not sure what else to say without sounding like a fangirl other than I LOVED it! :)

This was amazing! You were spot-on in terms of Will and Beverly's dynamic and you got into Beverly's head with wonderful accuracy. I could honestly, truly believe that this was in her point of view and was simply another scene in an episode.

I think that Will and Beverly have a great relationship considering that Beverly is probably the only person that Will gets along with in a positive manner. You brought this out extremely well with this fic of yours; her caring for him and him allowing her to.

Also, the ending of this fic seriously got to me. I was hoping for a "happy ending" so to speak. It didn't come, but that is exactly how things are in the show and with Will. And so, really, I'm glad you kept it real and wrote it as you did.
