It was fine at first. MC history of Greek/Turk war was a bit off, but no problem to accept.
His sword gift was a nice touch, but the 80M yen for his dork historical items was screaming dumb explanation of here is great wealth out of thin air. It stopped making sense there.

If he had such valuables, loaning to the museum would pay more than his shitty job and he would not have any need to live in the burrow. He would also be unable to sell them in an hour of notice. The museum doesn't have that kind of free assets just lying around and even then they would have to pool resources and such, it would take weeks to sell or at least day or 2.

Avoiding espionage is poorly thought. They talked it out inside clearly bugged room for crying out loud. Tracking money should not have been such a huge deal is they planned accordingly, like the only shop in huge malls with various quick transport ways out and leaving a said card at a specific place after. Reselling said things after to pool their untrackable money. Staying out of electronics (modern TV, phone) and street cameras. Also, they could use one use phone sim cards, buy some Nokia 3310 or something similarly old and I don't see this overlord company tracking that. They could be tracked despite this, all they need is to spot and tail them home...

So what I would have done is use all their money while I have a chance, talk in secrecy with them far away from people and fucking bring a together better plan. There is a difference if they know where you live and if you really only live there and what you doing inside. So playing by the rules and then secret base somewhere else where most important things would be discussed.

Um... Detonating nuclear warheads in-atmosphere isn't a good idea. Despite it being possibly the only choice, damage would still be high due to the EMP blast caused by the explosions. American and Russian tests of high altitude nuclear detonations showed that electrical systems as far as 1300 kilometers away were fried by the devastating ionized radiation. At best (for Minato and the gang anyways...), large parts of the eastern China faced complete blackouts, and at worst Korea and the southern parts of Japan went dark. I can see why China would receive sanctions for that.

Also, with MBI and Sekirei technology, i figured it would be easy to reattach the arm Musubi lost... With how one-on-one fights being so common in Sekirei society, you'd figure that they had perfected growing replacement limbs and organs due to the damage caused to the 'champions'. For humans, a severed limb can in most cases be reattached successfully if it is done within 6-12 hours of the accident, and with Miya being there mere minutes after i'm honestly a bit disappointed by the lackluster end for Musubi. Sure, she proved that love can beat hate, but with the battle being so close i'd call it a Pyrrhic victory at best (Karasuba couldn't use her norito, and had to fight 2 vs 1 against people who could, and yet they barely scraped a victory).

While writing this, did you ever take the time to look at a map of Japan? An attack that covers a 50 mile radius would reach so far outside the borders of the city that it isn't even funny. Forget Kazehana's norito tornado that wreaked havoc in a straight line for like 20 kilometers... 50 miles of everything on the ground frozen solid means that with an average population density between 1000-5000 pr. square kilometer, somewhere between 5 to 30 million people died in that instant. That's nearing the number of dead from world war 1, which was estimated to around 40 million over a time period of 4 years.

Why would some of those at Izumo inn be for Minato helping others escape a second time? Karasuba almost killed him in retaliation last time. Are they so eager for a repeat of that? Also, if they had formed a large group of single ashikabi/sekirei pairs, then wouldn't that give them enough defense against anything but a very coordinated attack?

On a different note, i don't think it works when Minaka states that he and Higa should team up to push down Minato. The enemy of my enemy can't be my friend if he is already my enemy after all, and Higa is firmly against Minaka and MBI. Such a partnership would only lead to one backstabbing the other, and i think both parties are too wary of that to form the initial alliance (not to mention that Karasuba is still out of town, so Minaka has lost a lot of his power in the city).

Um... Counting Miya, there are actually three unwinged sekirei in the north. Homura and Katsuragi to be exact. And with the one Akitsu rescued, there might be another one before the week is over. Is MBI slipping?

On the other hand, i think a more appropriate title for this chapter would be "The secrets we keep". Because there is the one secret after the other that helps make this complicated situation. Uzume and Miya's secrets prevented Homura and Uzume from getting the help they needed sooner. Then Kazehane's secret only prolonged the problem, and i'm sure Matsu also knew at some point.

Um... Why did they need a distraction from Seo and his sekirei if they just ended up fighting for half an hour anyways? The 'plan' being that they just walk to the bridge and hope for the best seems extremely silly when you consider all the hype on Minato being such an awesome strategist and 'warrior'. Akitsu could have made an ice bridge on the water, which means that they wouldn't have been spotted if they wore dark clothes at night. At the least, once they encountered resistance they should have just blown straight trough them with overwhelming force.

Then there was the stupid pair of ashikabi and sekirei. *Oh, the helicopters are coming. Better start legging it towards freedom.* The two should have given up as soon as they spotted enemy reinforcements, because there is no way for them to escape if MBI uses motorized vehicles and armed guards. Not to mention that being spotted meant that they are guaranteed to be picked up the next day, since, again, running vs. motorized vehicle. There is only so far they could have run, so the search area would be pretty small.

Rereading this story, and i saw you got some flack for leaving Karasuba alive. I can admit it's a strange decision on Minato's part, but perhaps he was delirious from the pain or something?

However, there is something else i'd like to point out that many seem to have refrained from commenting on. And that is Karasuba's plan after finding out she was defeated. *I'll go to the place where he learned how to beat me. That way i can learn what he knows so i can use it against him in the future.* Seems like an overly complicated plan for someone who doesn't deny that she is a 'rabid dog'. I could understand if Minaka ordered her to go there, but getting revenge could have been just as easy (and less time consuming) by targeting his family (sister/sekirei/etc.). The plan is overly complicated, and hinges on her actually finding someone in freaking Constantinople who can tell her what she wants to know. It just doesn't seem like something she would do when all she needs is her sword.
