You said it yourself that you weren't comfortable with Chekov's voice, but you obviously don't have that issue with Sulu. I like the relationship tone you've set for Kirk & Sulu. I think Hikaru is a good choice for helping Jim to regain confidence and swagger. Hikaru is a contemporary with enough self-confidence not to be put off by Kirk's meteoric rise and reputation as well as intelligence to be a valuable sounding board. As always, I enjoy reading your work. **Anything new in CA forthcoming?** |
