Woah ... just woah. This is such a different take on how most people perceive Beast Boy's thoughts on Raven ... major props to you for creativity! I really like the idea that he's attracted to the fact that he doesn't have to live up to anything with her, that he can just be himself without any labels. Very profound (and I really do think it would drive him crazy in the end, the masochist). If you have the inspiration, I would LOVE to see Raven's POV as a companion piece (or separate chapter). :) If you had this interesting of an idea for Beast Boy, I'd be excited to see what you'd do for Raven. :D

I hope people tell you this often, but you're a great writer. :) Once I get done with all my chore-things today, I will snuggle up and read your multi-chapter fic as a reward for being all adulty. XD

Perfectly sensible in my opinion. Now the connection just needs to be made from the other side.

I'm working at a fic myself, very, very slowly, the speed largely because i haven't worked much out beyond the plot bunny, but partly because i haven't developed the meat of the ship yet, and this little drabble did wonders for helping to understand the underpinnings.

This was written very well and I loved the idea behind it. For the reason why BB is attracted to Raven, I agree with this on one level, but on another I'd say they notice and care a lot about each other. That's why this was great: it makes you think about it. Great job :)
