I enjoyed the story and could definitely see Penny flipping out like that. I'd have liked more story long-range and pre-epilogue.

Enjoying the story but with the number of couples you gave, the failure rate is 20%. I'm thinking you meant the number of couples to be 3,479,080,000 if something like that, which is about half the world population.

Hadn't see the update until now. Thank you for this beautiful story, I loved it.
The ending is both surprising and adorable, I love that Leonard was able to understand Penny and did the only simple gesture that could convince Penny, even if opposite to what he believes. It reminds me when Leonard and Penny had an argument about psychics and he threw int he garbage the book he wanted her to read.

Leonard removing his timer was a real smart move to show Penny how he really cared for her by taking things slow and seeing how things go between them. Of course it the end the timers were right, they were meant to be together and ended up that way. The telling it as a story to Halley, about how they met, was cute. I enjoyed this story, thanks for sharing.

Okay that logic makes some sense, Penny may not be the whole problem, Leonard’s belief in the science of the timers, his enthusiasm over it going off for Penny and his resultant pushing all this in Penny’s face could actually be pushing her away. Since he seems to be understanding that now, because of the guys, I really wonder how he will correct his approach towards Penny in the future.

Raj was surprisingly helpful in this one, although in the end it seems Leonard didn't really get it. He's not being a good scientist not accepting there are exclusions, especially in something that involves people and their relationships. He also doesn't try to understand how Penny feels with some science "determining" her life. I think only when he accepts and understands those things and is willing to let go of TiMers will he have a chance with Penny. For now I think it would be better for them to take time and distance, he could date other women and see he can enjoy a relationship with them too.
