Well that's partly true. Robin didn't grow up with them but he has known Stahl and Cordelia for about 90% of his known life.

That being said I love reading this and I especially enjoy your writing for Lucina and Severa. keep it up!

Damn, although this was tragic it was so well written I was glued to my seat the entire time. I do admit that I personally would have preferred Grima to simply be sealed rather than killed in this route but overall it was great. Maybe if Future Robin's death scene felt like it had more weight than it would be appropriate. But as it is, it feels a little weak.

This is absolutely hilarious, currently reading your story backwards again from chapter 18 and really enjoying it. The first chapter is a bit rough in comparison but it's really easy to see just how much you've grown as an author.

Wow, i just gotta say that i loved every story. Each story was spectacular in its narrative.

Holy shit this chapter was a wild ride.

Chapters 16 and 17 have honestly been some of the best writing I've experienced in a long time. Not because it's flawless prose or unique use of the language. It just had so much soul and emotion to it.

"I am an Exalt before I am a woman. But, before either of those, I am a sister."

Emm's words have this quality to them, we understand what she means implicitly, but it when you think about it logically, it doesn't make sense. But it resonates emotionally. Emm has convictions. Her people come before her, but her family comes before all else. It's why she risks her life to see what type of person Robin is.

These words come back to haunt Robin when Emm sacrifices herself. It reminded Robin that he also needed to find his convictions. And he found himself agreeing along the lines of Emm.

"I am a tactician before I am a man."

Robin and Emm are similar people at the end of the day. And I would like to think that their love sprouted as admiration of one another's ideals and dogma's. As a result, Robin accepted Emm's sacrifice, because that's exactly why he loved Emm to begin with.

I didn't think my heart could hurt more, but then you brought Lucina. It makes a disturbing parallel. Lucina and Robin fall in love in the same way he did with Emm. Except this time, he is in Emm's position and Lucina is who he used to be. Which is why she accepts his sacrifice to end Grima. It hurts her, and will probably leave a scar that will never quite heal, but his sacrifice is exactly why she loved Robin.

Robin, Emm, and Lucina lived life following their convictions, so while the story was tragic, it was resolute. This short story was sad. But it was also thought provoking and strangely uplifting. It makes me wonder if I have the same convictions. Do I have roles or duties I value before all else? What am I willing to give up to follow my ideals?

Thank you for this. I doubt I'll ever forget this tale of an Exalt and a Tactician. Thank you.

I’ve never been compelled to write a review for something I’ve read in fanfiction before... but this story was stunning. In fact all your stories in this anthology are somehow so creative yet faithful to the source material. If or whenever you return to writing, know that you have a faithful reader eager to hear what you have to say next!
