Not very nice of those guys to mock their kid. Traumatic experiences at that age ensure that will probably one of her worst memories.

Yay! I was happy to see another little Rachel story. I'm with Shelby, and I'm not a big fan of the great outdoors unless I'm enjoying it from indoors, lol. My partner wants to take me camping at some point, but I'm not sure it'd be enjoyable for either of us if I'm just whining the whole time. But alas, I promised to try. :)

Oh I love stories about Rachel being a little kid and bonding with Shelby and having nice moments with her mother.

Have you ever imagined if something like "changed for the better" ( abandon or any other kind of negligence) would happen when Rachel was a small kid and Shelby would get her custody? I imagine how little defiant and insecure kid Rachel would deal with new mommy Shelby.

LOVE LOVE LOOOOOOOVE! Poor Rach. As if camping isn't awful enough, poor kid gets poison ivy on her bottom! And I don't blame her for climbing up Shelby when she's walking into the lake. I'd do the same now, and I'm no where near age 7! Haha. Amazing one shot. :D

You are so dam perfect! Another great one shot! It was so funny to imagine them out there. Happy that Rachel had her mom with her and them experience camping together! I think it's so cute that their family is so close and they enjoyed spending time together. little Rachel is so much fun and I really enjoyed reading it because usually it's teenage Rachel and her problems stories here in FF. I just love little Rachel with her parents! That's why I can't wait to read your stories!
