You did an amazing job with this.

This was a really deep and emotional fic. And at the same time it was amazing.

My GOSH this is heartrending. In a good way. Yes, I know that sounds weird; but the fact that this is heartrending means you wrote it well, if it can evoke that emotion. I have a small complaint: the healer's name is spelled 'Gaius.' And there were some errors here and there. But I could still understand what you were saying, and it was wonderful to read about Gaius holding Merlin and helping him to go back to sleep; that nightmare really does sound awful. I've only watched the first season of Merlin so far, but I know some of what happens. And I love that already, there's a father-son bond between him and Gaius. In fact, I've heard some say he might be Merlin's uncle, but I don't know for sure if that's true. In a way, it would be even sweeter if he wasn't, and they were still able to form such a close relationship. And it's interesting that you made a possible romantic relationship between Merlin and Morgana; I can definitely see potential for it, if she hadn't turned evil. Let me know if I'm writing too much; if so, I apologize.

This is absolutely beautiful! Broke my heart seeing Merlin suffer so much and without a real reason. And Gaius... he was perfect! He's the best father Merlin could ever have, even though I liked Balinor.
