These are my thoughts exactly - his wolf loves Emily, chose Emily, but if it's just him, plain and human Sam without all those wolf, magic, supernatural things, he would always love and choose Leah. And deep down I believe that locked away inside the deepest part of himself, he'll always love her, and he knows it's there, it's just that his wolf prevents him from subconsciously feeling and expressing it coz, well, now because of the imprinting he's all about Emily. I really liked this. And nice that you used Alice's vision as the reference to this story. Though I'm happy it did not actually occur in the movie, the part of me who wants Sam and Leah's happy ending wonders what Sam's reaction will be had it really happened. Your fic gave me a thorough look into Sam's mind and heart, and I imagine he'll feel exactly the same if it actually happened in the movies. So great job :) |
| 2Shaes chapter 1 . 8/17/2013 Wow! That tore at my heartstrings! I haven't seen Breaking Dawn, but I read all the spoilers and decided that I'm not missing much. Knowing that both Leah and Seth died was heartbreaking, and my first thought went to Sue Clearwater. To lose her entire family in a matter of two years would be almost impossible to bear. But I love how you showed that Sam really did still love Leah. In my mind, he always will. Great job! |
