I think that the answer is Fluttershy. She is one of the, if not THE, kindest ponies in Ponyville. Plus, I can see what Fluttershy would do with those books. (Some extra advice for caring for animals.) I doubt there are any joke books in that library, and I don't think Pinkie Pie needs any cook books, either. But hey, I could be wrong (I strongly support FlutterMac, so I can't see any other kind of pony with Big Macintosh).
