Polaring chapter 1 . 1/12/2019
Thanks for your brilliant story. The scenes of their past times keep wandering in my mind while reading. There were just two old men talking about their memories of younger times, with their family accompanied near by peacefully.

This is so beautiful, I nearly wept. You write with such a light touch, and yet the story hits hard-the characters are presented as heartbreakingly human. I think it also does FMAB justice in that there's still an original flavor to this tale. Well done. :) Thank you so much for writing this.
Raja-Ulat chapter 1 . 2/10/2015
This is the kind of fanfic which could fit into the canon story and blend in well, if not very well. For that, I tip my hat to you.

This is all kinds of wonderful. Imagine Roy and Ed as old men. Really enjoyed Ed rebuking Roy.
kiuna'yukina chapter 1 . 8/28/2013
Beautifully written and wonderfully insightful. I really appreciate the friendship you've built for Roy and Ed.
Tzaritsa chapter 1 . 7/23/2013
Ahhh... This is wonderful. Just wonderful.
Lauren Cleveland chapter 1 . 7/14/2013
wow lol i was so sad starting this, having my fav characters old and dying :'0 but its nice to think of them, and the bit you put in bout sacrificing for love and taking the burden from people so they never have to make and live with that choice-wow. brilliant.
MarshMallow14 chapter 1 . 7/14/2013
When I saw the two main characters were Edward and Roy I thought there would be no Royai in the story. I was so wrong.
I absolutely adore the way you told the story about what happened to Roy on the Promised Day. It is so awesome you didn't even mention Riza's name until much later but it was well known that it was her, the Roy's worst memory from that day. It shows just how much Roy cared about her, and still does - I didn't even doubt her being his wife.
I like the way you described Roy and Edward as old men and the fact that, as becoming older and wiser, they realised there was no point in calling each other names as they used too. Instead they just called tie and became friends, good ones as the matter of fact.
Upon the realising the lenght of this review ( this is the longest review I've written) I won't even mention your awesome recalling of Ed's feelings for Winry, her apple pie and that I laughed at the mental picture of grandpa Roy chasing after his grandchildren with a stick.
I think a simple THIS IS THE BEST FMA FANFIC I'VE EVER READ would be enough :)
Diane W chapter 1 . 7/13/2013
Wow. That was awesome :'3 I really liked the way you portrayed them, and your descrptions of the environment as well. It really makes the reader get into the story. Also, the way they talk, the way you handle the memories... Man, it was great :) I really, really like your style.
On the other hand, I'm glad you considered Riza and Winry's set of... skills. Great work ;)
