This is fantastic! You did a wonderful job of writing a silent protagonist. I didn't realize she hadn't uttered a single word until the last sentence.

Why is it so difficult to meet the marriage requirements? I guess that's one of the reasons why I like playing the other games like Island of Happiness and Grand Bazaar, though DS Cute is my favorite.

I can't believe I never reviewed this - I've been looking for this story for AGES. I remember I thought this was so funny, I had to read it aloud to my poor, unwilling sister. I'm not really one to Laugh Out Loud while reading, so people should take it as a compliment if something they wrote made me blow air out of my nose while reading; that's my internet laugh.
Well, I actually did Laugh Out Loud at this. The pacing was great, word choice was great...all in all, it was a perfect recipe for a Laugh Out Loud.
I gotta say, I feel for ya, Claire. Took me a few in-game years to make the mistake of marrying Cliff because I never got around to viewing his final heart scene. Whoops.

Oh man, this fic was so funny! I love it! It’s been quite a while since I’ve read a Harvest Moon parody that was actually truly funny, and not just plain silly or dumb.

I loved that bit about Claire’s overalls, since it’s true- that’s all she ever wears. In fact, she actually does wear them to her own wedding, haha. And I really liked your characterization of Claire, she's a funny one.

That was rather unexpected, haha. Trent's overreaction to the situation was hilarious! All because of that one little thing Claire forgot...

"And bring milk."
