I'm not usually much one for reviewing, but I've literally been going through and re-reading everything you've written for the past few days (and I'll admit this is neither the first nor the last time this will happen), so I figure I owe you one.

I left ffn a while back and usually don't read here anymore (shoutout to AO3), but your stories are among the few that can get me to return. I just genuinely love how fleshed out your world is; the most impressive feat, to me, is that your OC's are complex and varied, with their own stories and motivations. You give them each such good little details and interactions that they feel necessary, and I care about them (almost) as much as I do Legolas. Each story feels natural and grounded, and because of that I'm always eager to read the next line or the next story, no matter how small the subject matter is. This story is a particular favorite of mine, not only because I'm a sucker for the "nobody knows Legolas is the prince" trope, but because it's such a well-written little slice of life that I'm always craving. Battles and betrayal are always interesting, and I'll read them just as eagerly, but these little humanizing moments remind me why I care so much about these fictional characters. I love how you write Legolas' relationships with others, especially Thranduil. I love how you capture the nuances of navigating both court and the military hierarchy while still remaining friends and family. I love that somehow, you've managed to capture exactly what made the original LoTR so interesting: the feeling of fading epics, of a world that lies in the shadow if its own greatness, and the illusion of grandeur that reveals itself to be nothing more than a mundane life when you look at it a second time, while still maintaining a modern and accessible writing style. Everything you write, even years after I first read it feels like a breath of fresh air, and makes me feel a kind of nostalgia for something I never had. This review got a little sappier than I intended, but 'tis the season and all that. So, happy holidays, and in conclusion, thank you for everything you've written, and I hope you keep writing for a good long time to come.

Please please please write about the Archery practice. And if you do, what would happen if Faramir came along? I've also got this image in my head of Gloin turning up with Gimli and all the Dwarves watching and laughing, but then being roped in... Please think about it?

I loved this! It was hilarious and heartwarming at the same time.

I have been going through some of my favorite stories lately and as I was reading this one, I remembered that this was one of the first stories I ever read on FF. It is still just as wonderful as it was the first 16 times. I hope you will continue to write such quality work!

Please keep writing - the characterisation of the characters are spot on and you made them come alive which each word. I cannot wait for you to expand on all your wonderful stories and let us love each and every one of them even more.
