OH MY GOSH, thank you! Lol I was beginning to think I was the only one to care/notice the fact that nobody made a freaking effort to rescue Yamato! I mean YEAH there is a bunch of stuff going on, but they were using Yamato to make the war worse! So it's not like a wasted effort to save just one person! (which is what everyone tells me!)

This is a really sweet story! Yamato's characterization is very well thought-out and enjoyable to read.

I get what you mean. Yamato was made an important enough character to be part of Naruto's team full-time, and we fans came to like him alot once we saw the nice personality behind the ANBU that he was. But ever since Yamato got captured, his role in the manga got cut off, and we had no news of him. It was like he was dead... and had it been the case, then we wouldn't even have had insight on his last thoughts within the last moments of his life. He got discarded from the manga like a rag doll, and only made an appearance so we knew he was still alive. But after that? Nothing. He didn't even get his own personal ending in the main story...

I'm happy you managed to write what many of us Yamato fans wished had happened in the manga. Tenzo's an aimable guy, it's sad to leave him out like that. That's why I give this story two thumbs up for the thoughtful plot, and a hug for the fluff and humor. You did a good job with this one

WOW Finally! A story well worth reading.
I love the quote: "If this was what not-dying felt like, he would rather go back to dying."
And the little miniature Hashiramas were epically fun. you made me laugh out loud so many times simply with how Yamato's mind works. Everyone in the room could hear me. You are a realllly really good writer. And I am in my 20's so my opinion caries more weight now. Kakashi was so accurate to character that he made me laugh thinking 'he would do that' and I could even see him saying all the things he said with the utmost clarity.
