I loved this! All the characters were perfect and the whole situation was brilliant. Poor old Gordon - but nice to see John the winner for once. Great work!

Laughed all the way through this my darling, loved the fact that Gordon was so overconfident, and how Virgil sort of set his brother up to get back at Gordon, but all's well that ends well. Rusty gets left all on his lonesome, Scott's being Scott, as usual, and there was no mention of Alan at all! My kind of story, for sure! Felt sorry for Johnny with his bit of upset in the middle there, but I totally forgave you when he was able to get the girl, even despite Virgil's help. Yay! :D

Gordon may be funny but his over-confidence would be a turn-off for me. I'd go for John as well so Lissa made the right choice. Loved that Virgil played matchmaker and got a bit of revenge on Gordon in the process.

Scott certainly wasted no time in finding someone to chat with. Really enjoyed that Alan was left out of the celebrating. hee hee

Yay! I'm so glad you posted this, it was such a gem to read the first time around and it was even better on a second reading. Love how that completely backfired on Gords - that's what happens when he tries to outdo John, it's never going to end well!
