| the Wolf with the Red Roses chapter 5 . 4/30/2005 Oh man...I was in tears after I finished reading this. I feel like you just described MY life. I can totally identify with Hermione, I was a miserably shy and bullied geek too, ever since I can remember. The only difference is in how I turned out, compared to Hermione: I've never reached that level of peace and self-confidence that she has at the end of the story; After my so called friends abandoned me to be alone, I simply learned not to trust anyone anymore. I have no friends, I am cold-hearted and cynical now ever since I realized how cruel others can be. But thanks for opening my eyes with this fic. It truly is a great story.
