This was an amazing story and I loved it so Faith feels about Angel makes so much sense and the beginnings of Faith/Spike frienship do as many favourite parts...You added so many twists to your story,it was a joy to read.I actually read through the night to read this and sequel...Well,I'm off to reread the sequel...

Mortal Ground Book 1 starts off as a straight post-Season 5 AU with a very reasonable premise. Faith is let out of prison by the Watchers, Angel saves her from them and they go off to Sunnydale. There's vampires trying to end the world (surprise, surprise!). Go from there.

You have a great grasp of the characters, their motivations and inner conflicts, and the way that they act and react to each other. There are absolutely _no_ out of character moments and many of the exchanges felt like they belonged in the show (I wish we had some Faith and Spike conversations like the ones here). Plus, some of the scenes are unleaded awesome (Faith versus loads of vampires is the first that comes to mind).

Tara did meet Faith at the begining of season 4. Tara helped get Buffy out of Faith's body.

I couldn't stop reading this fic. It's absolutely amazing and definitely worthy of the "epic" title.

Wow! That was an excellent story. Easy to understand, with characterization that seemed faithful to the series. Faith is one of my favorite characters and I'm glad to find a story

with her as the main character, and a good depiction of her persona. I also liked the incorporation of Angel into the story and their interaction. Look forward to reading Book II.

OO very interesting so far, its amazing what you find when you're digging around. I gotta do work now but this is totally going on my favourites list so i can finish it and the sequel when i have more time. So far, really good, im looking forward to the rest.
