This was a fun and satisfying read! I already read PT fics but the premise of the member before Shizuku was what made me click. Glad I did. Your fic entertained me and kept me chill when waiting for a train to alight (read while on the train too.) Mizu is a great OC. While it's easy to overdo murderous aura in fics, it never felt over the top. Her nen ability is one of the best, most versatile I've seen in fanfiction (and outside ff). Pariston being an antagonist was a great surprise and the tension between was perfect. I always looked forward to his appearances in the story. And finally...the troupe. All of them felt in character, which is hard to manage. I loved the build up in her partnership with the troupe and how they were at odds in the beginning. Made for some fun interactions. The twists and turns in your plot, your interpretation of the Kurta massacre, the hunter exam gave the story an air of unpredictability that I enjoyed.

I've got this nasty habit of re-reading every good fanfiction I've read when I have nothing else to read. I choose the fic which I want to read by fandom I'm now interested in and read it. Even if I've read it quite a few times before, I choose the best fanfiction in that fandom. Do you know how many times I re-read the Ei8ht series? About bloody four times. Four. Times. Entire. Series. Including Revived and Revenge. It should be illegal to write this good fanfiction. Not that I'm saying that you should stop writing or - dare I say it? - delete this series. Then I won't have anything to read when I'm bored. And I'm often bored. And it seems like I'm in some strange mood because I've written five reviews (as annoying as this one, maybe even more) to the fics that I liked the best. I don't have a clue why I'm writing this so please bear with me. This will be the last line. Thank you for writing such wonderful fiction.
