This idea is very original and was one of my first encounters with Fanfiction. Love the tenderness and clear passion you put on display through Romanogers. I have to say that I just came across this in my search for more Steve/Natasha reading and it is simply marvelous. The depth of the characters, the way you have woven the backstory, and the continuing evolution was simply marvelous. Marvelous. I found myself having to make time to continue reading this as I was highly interested, and heavily invested, throughout the entirety.

I highly commend your work.

Great story. Would be great to have that final chapter but even there it's a good (enough) finally.

My only problem with it was that it was becoming repetitive to read with Cap always saying near enough the same things to Nat when she's down in the dumps and vice-versa. It got petty - it was needed though so it's very much understandable.

Congrats on the story (took me so long to read aha) it's very nice and a good thing to read. All the references as well was a nice bonus to add (although I must say I personally didn't get a lot of them, you really know your stuff haha).

Tony Stark: Stark Industries' 150th anniversary when Tony was was literally one of the most outrageous parties EVER in history-Tony,Howard and Maria and their friends literally went utterly crazy and drunk to the core,that some of the guest have to go to the hospital afterwards
Thor:His 1000th birthday in and his mates went RIDICULOUSLY drunk on mead and barley beer,they feasted on multiple patried for such a long time that Thor actually slept for 3 days.
Pepper Potts:The day she was accepted to Havard,her father organised a party for her to celebrate Pepper's first major achievement.
Natasha Romanoff(she's a descendant of the Romanovs!):USSR National day when she was wowed her fellow agents with her sleek black dress
Crystal Amaquelin:Her extravagant sweet 16 party,where she wore a yellow Dior taffeta and her girlfriends danced with different partners,went drunk for he first time and literally spent the entire night without sleeping.

I admit i binged and read all 23 chapters in a 3 day marathon. I am very impressed with the knowledge you've demonstrated with the various source material and weaving it all together. I noticed a few typos but nothing too major like Obadiah Stone instead of Stane.

It'd be difficult to do now and kinda pointless but there was an early encounter with the Webhead back in the 70's (Amazing Spiderman 86). Its basically the first appearance of Black Widow's iconic leather catsuit. Since Spidey is supposed to be a teen in his upcoming MCU appearance, i could see either Steve or Nat teach him how to fight better (Steve did warn him about relying on instinct / Spidey sense).

But I digress. You've solidified my like of the pairing as its a natural fit with 23 chapters as proof. And that's just you. Well done!
