Awesome job by the way. The blast from the past is quite an interesting twist in the story and I like how you added in my spirits-Freedom and Cupid-into it so that there's more meaning behind their role of Jack and Hiccup's soon-to-be-love-life. Can't wait to continue reading more!

I'm not reading this becbecause the why you described your oc is everything I hate about ocs.
"She was dressed in a graphic t-shirt along with a pair of baggy camo pants, and her combat boots seemed dirtied and worn. Piercings dotted her slightly tanned face, giving her a, 'Don't F with me,' vibe."
This out rights says to me that this character is going to contribute nothing new to the story.
Bunny could heve filled this roll just fine in this chapter. In fact, when the comment of Jack being a drama queen was made, I exected Bunny to be there because Jack and bunny would poke fun at each other. Its what they do.

I would love to read this. Its a different take on the Jack and hiccup shipping. But your oc is going to ruin it for me.
I don't mind ocs being in fan fics. There just needs to be a reason why they need to be there and they need to have character development without over shadowing the main characters. This story is about Jack finding hiccup. Not how cool your character is in the first chapter and how she is best friends with Jack.
I can easily tell your oc is not going to have character development in this story and all she will be doing is "look how I'm helping and being perfect with no flaws what so ever"

Now of course I could be completely wrong seeing as I have only stopped reading after your description of merry sue. But I have seen these types of ocs over and over again and I've had it with them.

I'm not saying that you need to delete this story of anything. I believe that no matter what anyone makes you can not please everyone. This story does not pleas me. But I do not want it to be deleted. It is still your story and I'm not the one writing it. You are writing it so you are making it to your liking.
However you can read and learn one how to make improvements in future stories that deal with ocs.
There is a time and a place for ocs. You just have to learn how.

I don't mean the depression and that but I mean the fact that you had a kind heart to actually think about this person and their family.
