Why the god dragon?
It looked like this was going… not there.
Just can't wrap my head around it.
I was enjoying it up until that part though.

I want to find out what happens next! What will Hakoda and Kya think of Katara being married? What is Aang’s next move? How will his friends try to save him? Can they even save him?

When I first starting reading this I thought it was going to be one of those cutesy school dramas. I would have definitely kept reading it because it was light-hearted and fun. Then when Zuko died you elevated it to a completely different level. I’m shocked at the direction you took the story. It’s so interesting and the conflict you are building is absolutely crazy. I’m not surprised Aang is being corrupted, I felt that if Avatar had a book 4 they would have explored that. Does Aang know or will he find out that Sozin and Azulon are Zuko’s ancestors? Also I love the Zutara and Sokkla. I’m not a big Sokkla person but I like the way you write it. Zutara and Sokkla are both Fire/water ships but they are completely different thematically. So I’m happy that you showed them as two loving couples that are completely different from each other in how they interact and communicate. Please continue this because you have created a very unique story and deserve more reviews.

I understand your confusion and I'm sorry. The entire story is a complete AU setting though. And I know, it has been too long that I haven't written. But the topic of this story is about the connection of the universe.
I'm australian and was raised in an Aboriginal community. Altjira is the Arrernte aboriginal's "God Being". Each Aboriginal culture has their own unique "Dream Time" story of the creation.
Altjira is their name for the "Rainbow Serpent" or the "all-God" for EVERY aboriginal people.
The whole topic is that everything is connected. Not just people and cultures, but literally everything: creatures, plants, rocks, spirits, humans. No one thing is more important over the other.

I just haven't finished the story and explained everything. I apologize.

And here is where your story goes a bit over the top for me. Altjira is a bit too Deux a Machina for me, espeically considering the established mythology of the Avatar universe. And now Zuko is some "super Avatar"?

The initial appeal of this story was of our characters interacting with each other the Integrated Nations school. You've gotten away from that simple premise.

A pretty good start if only rough around the edges here and there. My biggest issue was the big narrative dump that set up the history of this new timeline. You should have worked it into the chapter better. Perhaps as part of some future class discussion.

Omg, I just love this story line. You have done such a beautifully wonderful job with this story. I found it the other day, scrolling through another member's favorites and I am so glad that I did. I would have left a comment after every chapter but selfishly I just wanted to keep going until I got caught up. Using Sozin and Azulon to corrupt Aang is genius. I love your OCs Amala is a great addition so is Altjira and all that you have created with the dragon. I feel like you have captured and have written Azula so well, she was never one of my favorite canon characters but since I have been reading fanfics she has become one my favs. Sokka's reaction to the consummation chamber was so damn funny.
