This still remains one of my favourite fics. You wrote it so beautifully and so rawly, it was like I felt that pain Klaus and Caroline were feeling. Absolutely brilliant.

I remember reading this wonderfulness on tumblr. This is just a poem. It's breathtakingly beautiful and I know it's no surprise anymore because you do this with all your fics but it is gorgeous. These two lonely souls who stumble on each other... The last sentences are glorious!

There are arms for girls who were never cherished enough and boys who wanted so much.
If a mother's love is not eternal it need not mean none will ever be.

I think you understand both Caroline and Klaus so well and it always feels like you know their deepest and darkest secrets. Original vamp Caroline was greatly written. xxx
