Tootless' comment really cracked me up ;)

The scene did feel a little rushed. He tried to kill her a few days ago. I get the saying that love turned bad can lead to the deepest hatred...but I dont think it goes that quickly especially after 5 years worth of stewing. Or maybe he just let it all out in that one moment. That leads to another point though.
She was strangled. She has no trauma at all from that? Not even a flinch? She trusts him?

She accepted getting strangled because she deserved it?...uh...even though she was trying to make things right he strangled her when she refused to fight and she deserved it?
I disagree with that sentiment. He went berserk on her? Hiccup has killed in this world then? He no longer listens just kills first? He got abusive?

That aside, the plot is interesting. There could be more descriptions. Alson I think separating dialog from different speakers would be very useful for overall readability.

The storyline is progressing nicely. One critique: it is hard to read with the inconsistincies in verb tenses.

Yo mate, just so ya know I'm pissing myself I believe you've got a typo roughly 1/5 the way into this chapter where Astrid walks into the ring after they laugh about the man sword, it reads "She was dressed in that red 'shit' of hers" I believe it should be shirt, but I am dying that is the best typo I ever seen in a story and its a shame to bring it to your knowledge for it to maybe be corrected, cus it works so well with how I talk to people irl hahaha, but yeah loving the story so far, a few grammatical mistakes here and there, and some other minor typos or wrong terms/words used but not so it doesn't make sense, I gotta say I had a moment of silence when I read ur message about Paul Walker, he's still dearly missed 3 bless his soul. Looking forward to reading ur other f-fics ur up there with the best authors/stories on here in my books
