It's as if Sideshow Bob himself wrote it

I never knew the little birthday girl Britney was such an ungrateful brat. Poor Bob. Not being able to actually speak to the kids must be pretty frustrating for him.

It does a good job explaining why Bob went back to his old ways after that episode. Poor man. Seems he can't catch a break, even if he tries to be good. 'He couldn't resist making a mad grin.' - my favourite line. It just completes the chapter so well and ties the whole thing together with a simple action.

Excellent chapter. Can't wait for more.

I love that you can glimpse Bob's insanity even before he worked for Krusty. All these themes are in-character for him, and I love the elegant style in which they are written.

Nice Sideshow Mel reference in this chapter. "At least Bob wasn't forced to wear anything in his hair, like a bone." :) And nice foreshadowing about Bob wanting to fix the show up. I eagerly await the next chapter.

I don't understand why Judith is faking tears. Why wouldn't she be genuinely distraught over the news?

Don't know what to say about this one. It says a lot about who Bob really cares about, even if he didn't tell the entire truth.
