Ugh. This has to be one of my favourite of your fics. Heartbreakingly poignant, I can feel Elliot's anguish as he says goodbye. Which is a damn fine accomplishment Min because even on the best of days I barely tolerate him much less empathise with the fool. He's broken her heart too many times to count and this right here, a glimpse into how his heart is breaking (albeit from his own doing)? Beautiful. One of my favourite EO fics of all time is a story called Failure To Thrive. This reminds me so much of that.

Brilliant as always. Thank so much for sharing! :) Would you consider a follow up to this where he either reflects on the day he did let her go or the day he decides to eff it and try again with her? Basically anything which has them together in the end, that has Liv get the happy ending (beginning) she deserves with the man she loves. :)

Wow, that hurt. It was good though, well written. With so many E/O fans dogging Olivia's relationship with Brian, calling it forced and other not so nice names, they should all take a gander at this story. They well and truly had their chance in Season 8 and he royally messed up and missed the mark. She shouldn't spend her life waiting for something that'll never happen and I for one am glad she's found happiness, "forced" or not. Good job!

Wow, so well written! I like how you really pushed Elliot's character and sort of tore him apart, and put him back together again. This story also very much got to me because it's exactly how I see them... he just never got round to it. Today the timing wasn't quite right, but they would have tomorrow... and then all of a sudden they didn't anymore. Such a strange mix of love and sadness. Loved it! Thanks for sharing.

Wow, this was something. I knew, I KNEW as soon as Hendricks got him to finally admit it to himself what he was really feeling, it'd turn out the way it did. Amazing writing.
