AU never came to mind since the history meantioned for Nikita/Owen was canon (aside from the references of their past as a couple) which just made this oneshot all the more real (or more possible) when it came to N/O.

I wish Nikita didn't pull away but I loved Owenks thoughts throughout it all.

Aww, Owen...

I'm a true blue Mikita fan but there's just no denying that spark between Owen and Nikita when they're together. It's just there ever since Season 1. And I think you really hit everyone's character spot on (I especially loved that you wrote about Michael's irrational, but not unfounded, jealousy, his over-protectiveness of Nikita in the field, and the shitty way he treated her after he lost his hand - it's seriously perfect).

Loved this. Seriously, I do. It could've actually fit in seamlessly into canon. Ohh... Going into my favorites! ;D

And yes, a one last Nikita/Owen sparring scene before the show ended would be terrific.
