I love those two so much and they're actually together now! I love how everyone knew except for them. It feels like it's that way for all relationships though.

I wanted to let you know that this chapter has a repeat in it. Ends with "not until after you get something to eat." Then goes back to when Sherlock is leaving Mrs H's place with stuff for John and talks to Irene for the second time.
