I knew it was cannon that his father was the reason, are we meant to end up sympathizing with fenrir? is he going to end up being a "good" guy? you mentioned Dumbledore stealing and the goblins getting his things back, have they not? did you forget? or has Dumbledore just not noticed them missing?

It is 2am in the morning and I just had a crazy idea for a fanfic and it is created based on the chapters I read(1-18).

What if Ron had been instructed to befriend Harry but he found out that it was to pull Harry into a scheme for "greater good" with it being manipulating Harry? Ron was raised in a family and he knows that he loves his family even though they annoy the heck out of him. Knowing that if he befriend Harry, Harry will be forced to do certain things for the sake of greater good and in return saceificing bits of himself. Ron didn't want that. He does not want a kid like himself to suffer, a kid he does not know. He steeled himself. He was determined to pull a 180 degrees to the kid. Making sure that the kid won't even think of being in the Light side for the sake of ... he wanted to make sure that the kid would stay with his adopted family. That way, the kid would not be forced to hoose between his family and his friend. So much thinking for an eleven year old but it would be worth it. He just hope that the kid will not be the hero-type.
